What we are reading ……………..

I think that a reading list is a perfect snapshot of where we all are in life, so have decided to do a regular (ish) post on what books are gracing our bedside tables, coffee table, hands and kindles.  We are pretty avid readers, well all apart from Maxi, who is still a reluctant although very capable reader.

Love to see a family who loves books!
Have the boys read the Artemis Fowl books by Eoin Colfer (I think) they are sci-fi fantasy books with a secret code across every page for them to work out too!

Love this book list idea! I am reading a Lesley Pearce book called Secrets, its about East End London and prostitution! My mother in law has given it to me and as I said I liked one she now brings me another one each time I see her – not sure I like Lesley that much! I love Nigel Slater and would like to know what you think about his book? I am also dipping in and out of the Papercraft Bible and my Scrap365 monthly mag! My 5 year old daughter is currently into The Nightspinners and Princess Poppy books and my 3 year old son loves The Ravenous Beast and Christopher Nibbles – he is a guinea pig and we have 2 so Jack thinks this is hillarious!

Really like your blog – I will definately make it a regular read! And will comment!!

Hello, I found your blog via Tales From a Happy Home. We love reading in our family too. Richard Scarry is always a hit for my 3 year old.

I started reading a Happier Home, but haven’t gotten very far into yet, hopefully it’s as good as her first book. Thanks for sharing the children’s books – I’m always looking for something new for my 7 year old to read :)
