Spring finally sprung in North Yorkshire this past weekend and we decided to take advantage of the National Trusts free weekend and visit Fountains Abbey.
There is something wonderful in just getting outdoors and having fun as a family. We packed a picnic and set off for an adventure.
Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal is a great place to walk, explore, learn and have fun as a family. It is a world heritage centre and the boys love being able to run and just generally have fun whilst I amble along at my own pace taking lots of photographs.
I love spring days out as a family. Exploring places and enjoying each others company. Over the Spring and summer we try to ensure that we spend one day at the weekend out as a family. The thing is that the boys love being out and about as much as me and MadDad do and we spent Sunday pottering in the garden and the weekend was pretty screen free for all of us.
