Spring is on it’s way in the UK and I for one am looking forward to spring flowers, but you can have flowers all year round and they mean so much when they are fantastic kid made flowers.  So We have a round up of homemade flowers for kids to make.

These homemade flowers are perfect to give for Mother’s Day or to bring some Spring colour in your life.

Origami Tulips are a brilliant activity for tweens and teens as they are challenging, but once you have the knack you could sit and make them for hours.

Buggy and Buddy have a great art project for watercolour flowers, they are beautiful and also a wonderful way of recycling artwork.

Nurturestore has a great water painted concentric circles flower activity, which makes for stunning artwork.

Paint chip flowers from No Time for Flashcards make for a super art and learning activty.

Our two colour pinwheel daffodils and foam pinwheel daffodils are simple to make and look great spinning in the wind.

We are big fans of salt dough and Meaningful Mama has a super activity for making fingerprint salt dough flowers.  You could make a wonderful garland with them or even mount them on paper straws to make a bouquet.

Daffodils are my favorite flower and I am going to task the boys to make me these stunning pipecleaner daffodils by Zing Zing Tree
