How to make a cotton pad calla lily craft
Calla Lillies are such a beautiful, stylish flowers and these are deceptively simple to make, but look amazing. I would be delighted to be presented with these.First off you need to colour the end of your q-tip (cotton bud) yellow to represent the stamen of the calla lily. Then you need to add a dab of all-purpose glue and attach your q-tip.Then squeeze it together for the head of the lily.Depending on the width of your straw you might need to add a dab of glue before putting the other end of the cotton bud in the straw. We took a look at the lilies I had and noticed that some of them had two petals, so we used the larger oval cotton pads to create a second petal. They look amazing in a vase and we had so much fun making them.If you like these then check out our other DIY Flower posts- Children’s Craft Showcase – How to make paper flowers
