I can’t wait to try these for family night this Christmas season! Every year we have a big Christmas Eve get together with my best friend. Between us, we have six boys aged from seven to fourteen. As the years go by we have gathered us a great selection of kids Christmas party games that our boys love. As much as we love all the games we normally play we need to up our game and find some more family Christmas party games as we have been hosting for over 5 years now.

We love having a selection of both hands on fun games that keep the kids and adults entertained without turning to electronics. This assortment of family Christmas party games are perfect for family gatherings but work equally as well in larger group situations such as classrooms, cubs, beavers or brownie parties. They are all inexpensive to do and take very little preparation.

Do You Hear What I Hear
We came across this fab listening game at Your Homebased Mom and it is super simple to put together. It is a great team game and we split into team with both adults and kids in. So far no one has got it all correct.

Christmas Songs Pictionary
Who doesn’t love Pictionary? It is such a versatile and funny game and all you need is a timer pencil and paper and you are all set to go. Creations by Kara even has a set of printable cards for you to use. But there is no need to stop at festive songs, you can also do Christmas Movies too!

Stacking Cup Christmas Tree Game
Hands-on activity games always go down really well and this Christmas Tree Stacking Cup game is super fun and doesn’t need a lot of props.
Always a Christmas favourite, charades is perfect for playing with a group and Joy of Boys even has a free printable if you need ideas.
Christmas Antler Game
The Christmas Antler game is a new one to me and I can not wait to play it with everyone this year. I can imagine this is going to be hilarious.
Two Truths and a Lie – Christmas Edition
You can transform this classic into a Christmas game by asking players to think of three Christmas gifts. Two of the Christmas gifts must be gifts that the participant has actually received and one of the gifts is a lie. One participant announces their three gifts in a random order and the other players then try to guess which Christmas gift is a lie.
It doesn’t get much simpler than scattaroties and I love adding a Christmas twist on to it.
