When I first started blogging.  I had no idea what I was doing.  I started during a health scare so I could record family life and over the following years my blog organically developed to become my career.  I have decided to do a few posts on blogging basics to deal with a lot of the questions I get asked and to get some great tips from fellow bloggers.  Today we are looking at working with brands.

Sometimes it can be hard getting my boys to do something creative.  At the moment, they rush home from school and are desperate to get out and play with their mate and if the weather is bad then they will ask if they can play on the XBox.    Sometimes I need something that they can do that is fast, fun and doesn’t take any planning and this is where drawing comes in. Being Money Savvy – Paying by Direct Debit 10

So over the coming weeks, I am going to be switching any bills that we do not already pay over to Direct Debit and I would love for you to join me and see just how easy it is. I am all for making things easier and simpler and that is what paying by Direct Debit can do for you.  As a busy mum of two boys finding time to manage household stuff is often the last thing on my agenda.  Plus I would much rather do fun stuff than house admin!

A Week without Internet TV 14

We were challenged to go a week without broadband by Moneysupermarket and we just couldn’t do it.  I rely on our internet for my business and as a home, our broadband is out a lifeline to lots of things in our home.  I know this as we were offline for a week at Easter.
