20 Fun and Adorable Spring Crafts for Kids 11

Can you feel Spring in the air yet?  I think I can and I have started thinking about Spring crafts for kids and spring crafts for preschoolers. We have a fabulous selection of crafts that kids will love here.  I love Spring, the garden is filled with vibrant colour after a long, cold winter and the days are getting longer fast.  I LOVE spring because it means more outdoor time, butterflies, birds, bugs, flowers and spring showers.

DIY Applique Monstera Leaf Cushions using The Cricut Maker

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine. These DIY Applique Monstera Leaf Cushions were cut out using my Cricut Maker and its rotary cutter blade. The game changer for me between the Cricket Maker and previous Cricut cutting machines is its ability to cut fabric unstabilised with ease, accuracy and speed.

DIY Painted Terracotta Plant Pots – with Herb Puns 2

DIY Painted Terracotta Plant Pots – with Herb Puns is a paid collaboration with Bostik. If you are anything like me then you will have some of those supermarket herbs on your windowsill and these DIY painted plant pots are a great way to keep them, rather than in their sad black plastic pots with cellophane wrappers.

Technology giving you Power in Birth, Pregnancy and Beyond

Technology giving you Power in Birth, Pregnancy and Beyond is a paid collaberation with Bounty. When I was pregnant 14 years ago smartphones were not really a thing – I had a blackberry for work but hadn’t heard of an app. Now there is no chance of any more babies here, but I wanted to share with you some fabulous details of how the Bounty App can really give you power in birth, pregnancy and beyond. I really wish this had been around when I was expecting.

Easy Vanilla Cupcakes and Icing 157

Easy Vanilla cupcakes and icing is a paid collaborative post with limited edition HARIBO Starmix “Hunt the Double Yolker” #HuntTheDoubleYolker. What I love about this recipe for easy vanilla cupcakes and icing is that you use one 250g block of butter to make both the cakes and the icing, so no need to open a second block to make the icing.

My Body, My Business 5

I am a big fan of the body positivity movement. I am also a big fan of not feeling the need to discuss your body, however, I am going to break that rule here today. I am fat. I am clinically obese, my BMI is way too high and as much as I am a big advocate of loving the body you are in and body acceptance, I am also a firm believer in people being free to make their own decision and speak their truths.

Tips for Spring Cleaning your Appliances

Tips for Spring Cleaning your appliances is a collaborative post with Bekko. I HATE cleaning but I love a clean house. Yes, I know you can not have one without the other, so I work on the process of little and often and also in delegation, so if you can afford a cleaner then whoop, if not get the whole family involved.

Invitation to Create and Decorate Paper Easter Eggs

This Easter Egg decorating is super simple to put together and will keep the children busy for as long as you give them things to glue and stick in my experience! The best thing about this is that children are often happy to decorate with little or no interference or assistance on my part.
