DIY Salt Scrub that is exfoliating and moisturising 2

I am a big fan of DIY beauty treatments and this DIY Salt Scrub with essential oils is exfoliating and moisturising. It is simple to make and really effective yet gentle on the skin and free from any nasties. Plus you can personalise it with your favourite essential oil. I made this version with Sweet Orange Oil, which smells divine and is perfectly unisex and added some non-water based colouring to make it orange.

How to Make Citrus Vinegar Cleaner 1

Our Citrus Vinegar cleaner came about as I wanted a natural cleaner but my youngest son hates the smell of vinegar and even though the smell dissipates really quickly when you use it for cleaning I looked for an alternative. This citrus-infused vinegar cleaner is a brilliant way to clean naturally without the lingering vinegar smell plus it is an excellent way to use citrus peel that you would throw away.

Pour our DIY Foaming Bath Oil into a hot bath and enjoy a fragrant, foaming and skin-softening bath fragranced with essential oils or emulsify by using a scrunchie or sponge in the shower or bath. I made our latest batch with sweet orange essential oil and it is delicious.

How to get kids helping in the kitchen 4

How to get kids helping in the kitchen is a paid collaborative post with Very. Getting my children cooking and helping in the kitchen has always been a key priority for me as a parent. I want to give them the tools so they can eat well and also be proficient in the kitchen. Also, who doesn’t want their teens to cook them an evening meal?!

Covid Testing in Senior Schools

As of Next week, my children are due back to school. This is something that I am delighted about. I have one child in his GCSE year and the other in Year 10 who has found engaging in remote learning almost impossible. As a shielding parent, I was delighted to find out that children and bubbles would be offered two rapid lateral flow tests and even more impressed that the boys’ school was implementing these tests this week to ensure a smooth start next week.
