Go on an adventure with the Brave Bones Club
Steve Backshall, wildlife expert, presenter of TV’s Deadly 60 and my favorite on Strictly Come Dancing has teamed up with the Brave Bones Club to encourage and inspire you to go on an adventure. In partnership with Cheestrings and Yollies, Brave Bones Club have put together a competition where the prize is an adventure of your own with the ultimate adventurer. You’ll get to spend four amazing days exploring the outdoors with Steve and star in brand-new Brave Bones Club video series and make the MiniMads (and me) very, very envious!
To enter visit either First News or Fun Kids and watch the video below, where Steve explains more about what you’ll be doing in the big outdoors if you win:

Thanks for including our stone faces Jen – lovely round up! x
The PERFECT list for summer!
A great list of adventures for kids!
It’s funny because mine are also braver than me! But one of these jumped out at me, and that was fruit picking, as my daughter said to me only the other day that she’d really love to do this (not that adventurous I know, but still fun, and even I’d be up for it!)
I love your posts like this! It’s an automatic “Pin it”!
We have never made a windsock or bird feeder! .. must try harder from this mummy!
These are all great ideas for getting kids outside. I’ve found that it gets harder as they get older though!
I used to and still do, love going crabbing x
So many lovely activities that i fondly remember from my own childhood and some great new ideas to try out with my own children xx
What a fantastic list, I was going down it ticking it all off in my head.
What a brilliant list! Bring on the summer of fun!
What a fab list, fruit picking is high on our list for June! F loves PYO strawberries. x
So many fantastic ideas! Dancing in the rain gets my vote! xx
We have just joined the brave bones club – looks lots of fun
Lots of great ideas. Love the pic with the carrots!
What a great list Jen, some ideas are so simple but you know kids will get really into them. I used to love making mudpies
Making mud pies was a favourite of mine when I was younger 🙂
So many great ideas! I think we’ll print this off and I’ll get the kids to choose things from it throughout the holidays, thanks!
