I love a good gift and am also a quilter who loves a quilt retreat and go twice a year to The Modern Quilt Club Retreat and there is a swap. 3 items have to be handmade but you can also buy a gift for under £10 which inspired this gift guide. I didn’t want to give the obvious option of practical gifts such as pins, small scissors, needles, or rulers. I wanted to be less obvious, so I have found some of the best gifts (under £10) for your favorite quilter. So join me for some fun gifts for the quilters in our lives. I do hope you find some inspiration for your quilting friends.

As soon as I started looking I found loads of goodies that I would love to receive and so many unique gifts would be perfect stocking fillers for Christmas, in addition to retreat swap gifts for quilters and sewing lovers alike. So why not send your loved one this blog post as a hint!

Stationery

I LOVE stationery and what is not to love when it is quilting-inspired? This beautiful birthday card features an Ohio Star and you can get it without a greeting too. Claire Paul Draws also sells this quilty washi tape for £3.50 and I adore it. My sewing machine is covered in stickers and Samatha Clarridge has some amazing ones including this haberdashery wreath sticker which is £2.20. Need a card to give with your gifts, this sew much fabric, sew little time one is very apt! A stitched with love stamp would make a great gift along with a fabric stamp pad. What about these sewing-themed pencils – I represent the “it’s a collection. not a stash”!

Perhaps your quilter has a favourite quilt block, why not get them a sticker to match? There are so many quilt blocks to choose from. “I sew, therefore, I swear” this sticker was made for me! Whilst talking about swears – this Here we f$ucking Sew sticker already adorns my machine. A not so gentle reminder to clean that machine sticker. Do you know a sewciopath? this sticker would be perfect for their machine! We all know a bobbin chicken don’t we? We have all been here with our seam rippers- haven’t we?

I adore these sewing and tattoo-style postcards. I am obsessed with this “how I roll” rotary cutter sticker. These suncatcher stickers and hexagon suncatcher sticker are perfect for the sewing room. These paperclips are perfect for planners. These cutting mat stickers are super cute.
Labels
Oh, I adore this selection of labels. I have gone for funny, irreverent and cute! I was not made to be subtle, how about your quilter? We are solutions-orientated, us quilters. Strawberries and biscuits, do we need anything more, other than fabric? How many others feel this way about their quilts – look after them! I do love a funny label.

Fun Gifts
I wish I had the nails for these adorable sewing themed nail stickers, how cute are those tiny needles and thread spools? How about a quilty gingerbread man to hang on the tree each year? This little wooden sewing room house is perfectly formed.

I LOVE these tarot card stickers, which can go on your car! The Modern Quilter and Quilter are just perfection! Perhaps you have the best smelling quilter that needs a candle. I need this Quilty As Sin patch or this Sewciopath one for my denim jacket.
Jewlery and Enamel Pins
These sewing machine earings are just so impactful. There are lots of sewing-themed earrings to choose from here. I love enamel pins, so here we go: Like many quilters, I am tea powered, I put pedal to the metal, regularly need to undo, thready steady sew, am part of a stitch club and am sewing away my anxiety. I have a pin badge banner in my sewing space that is calling out for them all!
