🎶 How to Make Sheet Music Angels – Step-by-Step
These angels are made with simple paper folding techniques – no fancy skills required. Just follow these easy steps:
1. Prepare Your Sheet Music
Choose a page of sheet music and cut it into two rectangles – one for the body (about A5 size – half the paper) and one for the wings (about half that size). Don’t worry about exact measurements – you can adjust depending on how big you’d like your angel to be.

2. Fold the Body

Take the larger piece of sheet music and fold it accordion-style (back and forth like a fan), making the pleats around 1–2 cm wide. Once it’s concertinaed,we are going to fold in half and glue it together and secure it with glue. This forms the angel’s flowing skirt.

3. Create the Wings
Repeat the folding process with the smaller rectangle. Once folded, pinch it in the centre and glue it horizontally to the back of the angel’s body so that the folds fan out like wings.

4. Add the Head and Hanging Loop
Before you glue on the head, thread your ribbon or twine through the bead to create a hanging loop – this is much easier to do now than once everything is assembled. Tie the ends together to form a loop, then glue the bead securely to the top of the angel’s body.

💡 Tip: If you’re using a wooden ball without a hole, glue it directly onto the top of the body as the head, then attach the ribbon loop to the back of the bead once it’s dry.

5. Optional Sparkle ✨
For a little extra festive magic, lightly brush glue along the edges of the folds or at the bottom of them and sprinkle with fine glitter. Once dry, your angel will catch the twinkle of Christmas lights beautifully.
