Hello, I’m Jen Walshaw, the UK’s #1 Parenting blogger based in the NE of England. I have been blogging for over 14 years.
I have built up a hugely successful blog that reaches excess of 100,000 readers every month and is constantly in the top 3 parenting & mummy bloggers and one of the top 50 UK blogs.
I am a proud Northern Mum, and a vocal advocate for diversity, body neutrality, and more conversation about the role over 40s women play in the influencer landscape. In addition to the joys of parenting teenagers.
I am a firm believer in the joy that can be found in living a creative family life even in this digital age.
So why The Mad House? Well, when my boys were babies my mum used to come and visit and I would open the door and say “Welcome to the Mad House” and it stuck. Life at the time wasn’t always interesting, but it was always loud!
Fifteen years later life is different, but my home is the center of our world and I am happy to welcome all our friends and family here.
