Acts of Kindness Advent Calendar Printables

It is hard to believe that we have been doing an acts of kindness advent calendar for four years.  It all started when I was concerned that the boys were becoming rather immersed in the commercialisation of Christmas and of advent. I wanted them to understand and learn about Christmas and advent being about giving, so came up with the idea of an alternative advent calendar.

Over the years we have some fabulous printables with acts of kindness for all ages and I thought it would be a good idea to gather them all up in one place to make it easier for everyone.

There are so many different ways to use your Acts of Kindness Advent Calendar Printables. You can print them off and add them to a homemade advent calendar.

Or you could print them off and hang them on their own.

You could print them off and add them to a jar and then each day you pick one out.

We like to display our Acts of Kindness Advent Calendar Printables on our kitchen blackboard in the shape of a tree.  I think the bauble shapes would look ace all over a small Christmas tree.

I have to say that this is one of the highlights of my year and I love doing this with the boys.  For me, it is all about ripples and teaching them to be kinder than they need to be.
