Crayola 3D Pavement Chalk

I love toys that encourage outside play and have let the boys lose on our pavements with both chalk and homemade paint before now, so we were happy to review the Crayola 3D pavement chalk.

We liked:
The chalk is both simple to use and effect and yes it is 3D. It is very reasonably priced currently under £4 on amazon.co.uk. It does come off easily after a rain shower or event a watering can of water.

We wernt keen:

Playmobil My Knights Takealong Knights Shield Playset

We have had a Playmobil takealong castle in the past and have been really disappointed in it, so I was interested to see if this set withstood the whirlwind that is MIniMad.

I love the idea of takealong toys, the fact that you can pack up all the parts in them for safekeeping appeals to the OCD in me, but they have to be workable for play first and formost. The Knights Shield Playset (4217) £24.99 is a real multi facited play set. Not only do you have a castle and four knights, a horse and weponds, but you also have a child sized sheild and soft sword, which went down a real treat with Mini.

Playmobil Top Agents Review

One of my favourite things about Playmobil is the fact that it is not licensed and that way it seems pretty timeless. A car is a car and an agent is an agent, which with my boys minds means that it could be James Bond or any other person, which is great for creativity and longevity. Playmobil also is top quality and seems to last forever and the boys have some vintage people that belonged to MadDad.
We were loaned the Robo Ganster Truck (4878) along with the camera and remote control pack, which can be added.

For the love of Lego

We are a Lego House, I was a Lego girl and I still have the rooms for the Lego house in the loft. I am thinking about bringing them down for the boys to play with, but the truth is, they still bold too many precious memories for me to do that yet, I need to hold on to them a little longer.

But just because I haven’t shared by vintage set with the boys doesn’t mean that they don’t love Lego. There favorite type at the moment is Lego Nijago, which is an interactive Lego that you can battle with and boy do they battle. The whole street are hooked on the stuff and the boys rush in from school and grab their spinners, cards and figures and off they go. When they are not battling with them, they are using them in Garrmadon’s dark fortress. They really do seem to have got into the whole Ninjago thing. Yes my boys are younger and they don’t use the cards correctly and they make sure that they come home with the same weapons that they go out with, but they love it.

I am slowly learning about it, the forces of good and evil and the four elements of spinjitzu.

How to get your children to help with product reviews, just give them vorticity vacuum

We have wood floors downstairs and cream carpet on the stairs and upstairs (yes silly mistake, but the house came with cream carpets, we replaced them with wood downstairs). Now up until recently this had always been an issue for me when it came to vacuuming the floor. I had an upright hoover and it was a nightmare, it didn’t pick up the crumbs or dust bunnies and I ended up sweeping everywhere or getting the boys to sweep everywhere.
