Part of the reason I blog is to record the moments, to be able to look back on them and to cherish every single moment.
This Christmas has been a quiet one for The Mad House, but wonderful and very family centric. The older I get the more I realise that the joy I experience is really bound to the boys having fun and my family unit and dear friends that I hold dear.
Saying that I am a sucker for Christmas decorations and the top row were all provided by John Lewis. We have had fun making and recording. The white clay ornaments were a huge hit with the MiniMads. We hope that the teachers loved their Robin thumbprint mugs as much as we enjoyed making them.
The tradition of Christmas Eve PJ’s is still going strong and Maxi enjoyed some independant crafting thanks to Yellow Moon.
There has been gifting, baking, decorating and a fab Christmas Eve party with our best friends with some hilarious kids games!
There have been candles lit for the ones that are no longer here to celebrate with us.
I am pleased to report that father Christmas did attend The Mad House and there were smiles all round from the MiniMads.
We are currently enjoying the wonderful betwixt time and looking forward to ringing in the new year.

Lovely photos and I really like the decorations especially the reindeers. I’m a bit disappointed we didn’t get around to decorating a gingerbread house this year, yours looks great.

I’ve promised the kids that we can have some outdoor decorations next year, I’m worried though as where we live the will get stolen. Thinking back garden perhaps.
