I adore Christmas and all that is brings, partly maybe due to being a Christmas baby (it is my birthday on 20 December). So I love decorations and one of the great things about getting older is that I am no longer hung up on everything needing to be matching and co-ordinating. In fact I am embracing my inner child and we have even gone for coloured lights on a white tree in the dinning room.
I love the fact that we have been collecting decorations each year and adding to them, they carry so many memories, so much of our history as a family. Yep I am a sentimental old woman!
So let me take you on a tour of our Christmas Decorations this year.
Lovely Jen, I think it is great to have the different decorations collected over the years and those made by our children.
Love, love, love your decorations. The paper chains are fabulous and so much fun to make and how sweet are your Christmas trees? Wishing you all a fabulous Christmas! xx
Wow, love your decorations. I’ve just done mine, after considering not having a tree…. what was I thinking, it’s not Christmas without a tree!
Hi Jen – I love your white tree – it is delightful, to my eye it is all very colour co-ordinated in your house, I love to have lots of different colours and shapes too so would be very at home at your place! The stockings you have made your boys are very special. Betty x
I remember you doing this last year and I loved reading that post too. This makes me feel really Christmassy, looks great!

Beautiful festive fun – I love it and I am so looking forward to the years ahead with the girls, we too have lots of bright coloured decorations and I have bought them one each, each year that the day they leave they can take with them 🙂
Ooh pretty!
I have given up on a co-ordinated tree too, mainly because I don’t have the attention span for it.Life’s too short for it to be all the one colour!
Aww your decorations look fantastic. x
