I am a firm believer in giving kids the best quality art products that way they will last and give great results.

You can also laminate the bookmarks when they are coloured in perfect for your little bookworms.

I always print my printables directly onto 160 gsm cardstock using my Epson Ecotank Printer rather than regular paper, this way they are a little more durable and the pens do not bleed through to the other side. However, if you do not have a home printer then just pop to a library and use theirs.

These Coronation bookmarks to colour would be perfect to pass out at school. For class bookmarks for kids to colour just print the bookmarks onto heavy white card stock, cut them out and glue them onto a colourful cardstock background.  Punch a hole near the top and tie a ribbon through the hole. Once the children have coloured them in you can laminate them.

Top tip: Give these beautiful bookmarks a longer life by laminating it so it’s fully protected against the elements.

They make great free teaching resources for school children or group activities and would be super fun to give to Cubs, Beavers or Guides this coronation year.

To engage your young learners, why not send a selection to Buckingham Palace with messages to congratulate the King? Any mail should be addressed to His Majesty, the King, Buckingham Palace, London, SW1A 1AA.
