DIY Bath Melts that foam is a paid collaborative post with Aromantic Natural Skin Care who are a provider of everything you need to make your own skincare products including fabulous kits like the foaming bath and shower kit I have used to make my foaming Bath Melts. These DIY bath melts are small bars made with moisturising cocoa butter. Toss them into a hot bath to melt, and enjoy a fragrant, foaming and skin-softening bath!

I love making my own bath products and cosmetics, but it can be really confusing and expensive when you have to buy everything you need and that is where Aromantic Natural Skin Care kits come into their own. They have an amazing selection of make your own cosmetic kits which include all the ingredients you need and the containers too. Plus the kits are not just for mums, I am going to buy the beard oil kit for Father’s Day. I have used the Foaming Bath and Shower Kit for these melts and the kit also makes Foaming Bath Oil and Foaming Salt Scrub, so its a real bargain.

How to Make DIY Bath Melts
One of the ways I look after myself is to run a hot bath and toss in some of the amazing-smelling foaming DIY bath melts that I make.

Bath melts are made with butters from a vegetable source – cocoa butter, shea butter, and mango butter can all be used. Cocoa butter is the perfect consistency for us in the UK, but if your butter is softer like like shea butter you’ll need to combine it with a harder butter or add a bit of beeswax. To make them even more fun and luxurious, add dried botanicals to your essential oils.

During the winter cold season, my husband loves them with added peppermint, yarrow, fennel, pine or eucalyptus oil, as they moisturise the skin, de-stress the mind, relieve aches and pains and also ease stress headaches and clear the airways.
