Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Sketch Your Design (Optional): Lightly sketch out the gingerbread house design on your kraft card with a pencil. Plan out windows, doors, roof tiles, and icing details.

2. Draw the Details: Using a white paint pen, trace over your sketch or draw directly on the front of the card. Add classic gingerbread details, such as:
- Windows with crisscross panes
- Doors with small hearts or wreath designs
- Roof tiles in an icing pattern
- Swirls, dots, and snowflakes for a frosty look

3. Let the Paint Dry: Allow a few minutes for the white pen to dry before handling your cards to prevent smudges (you can see I made this mistake on one of mine in the first image)!

3. Cut Unique Roof Shapes: Cut the top edges of the cards to create various roof styles, giving each card its own unique “house” look.

4. Add Extra Touches: Use glitter glue, stickers, or embellishments for added sparkle. Try adding a dab of glitter along the roof or window edges for a frosted look!

Tips for Customizing Your Gingerbread House Cards:
- Use colored paint pens to add festive colors, like red or green.
- Add pets to the front of the card.
- Stamp Merry Christmas on the Front of the card.
- Try making a variety of house designs to create a “gingerbread village” look when displaying them.
- Consider adding a handwritten holiday message inside of the card, or leave space to add a personalized note for each recipient.

These DIY Gingerbread House Christmas Cards are a wonderful way to send a little holiday cheer with a handmade touch. Not only are they festive and charming, but they also show your loved ones that you’ve put extra thought and effort into your holiday greetings.
