This craft came from the fact that I made a mistake and ordered tiny plant pots and didn’t want to waste them – and they are really tiny at less than 2 inches high! But they do make such cute Reindeer Ornaments.
How to Make Christmas Reindeer Ornaments
These are super cute and don’t need many materials. I love how they turned out and they look fabulous on the tree. You could also make some bigger Reindeer decorations, which would look good as garden decorations. In fact, you could have a whole heard of reindeer including Prancer, Blitzen, Donner, Dancer, Vixen, Comet and Cupid – Have I got them all?

How to Make DIY Mini Plant Pot Reindeer Ornaments
If I am doing this fun craft with little ones then I like using Glue dots to stick the eyes and red pom pom nose on. As these are so tiny it is less fiddly than using hot glue and you are less likely to burn little fingers.
Feed through the gold cord ribbon or piece of string through the hole in the top of the plant pot and tie a large knot in it. So that the cord doesn’t come through the hole in the top of the pot.
Next, shape a pipe cleaner into antlers. Before pushing the end of the pipe cleaner into the hole in the top of the pot.
Then all you have to do is hang them on your tree. Don’t worry if you do not have tiny pom poms you can also use a red button for the nose.
I love how you can give them their own character by changing the size and style of their eyes. Once you have made the reindeer make sure you write the child’s name with a sharpie.
