Has Pokemon Go fever hit your home yet? If it hasnt, I can assure you it will! I thought I was lucky that my boys had never been really interested in Pokemon, until now.I didn’t even know what a Pokeball was until this week. Now they want Pokemon everything so I made these easy edible pokeballs.
They are perfect should you want to have a Pokemon themed meal or even a Pokemon party and they are super simple to make.
Easy Edible Pokeballs
Ingredients
- Babybell cheese
- Black paper
- hole punch
- sticky tape
- straw
How to make Easy Edible Pokeballs
You will find the wax easier to cut if you leave them out of the fridge for an hour or do.
Start by removing part of the wax to create the bottom of the Pokeball. In the center is perfect.
Then you need to punch out a semi-circle with the end of a straw.
Cut out the back band and circle from the paper and then with a single home punch pop out a circle
Wrap the paper around the cheese and march up the circle and semi-circle at the front and tape at the rear.
Tada! Give to the kids to enjoy a healthy and fun Pokeball snack. How perfect would they be for a Pokemon themed lunch in the above Yumbox or Yumbox Snack Box. We have been using these for Mini’s packed lunch and I have to say they are brilliant and really are leakproof.
Love it! I must try a girly version for my girls now~
