There is something magical about fairy gardens. To have your own little world with fairies, plants, moss, doors furniture and a little bit of pixie dust. As an adult, I have a huge love for fairy gardens and I know that they enchant most children too. They are also a great way to encourage children to garden.

I have been inspired by these amazing DIY crafts to bring the magic of the fairies to your garden. A selection of fairy garden and fairy house tutorials for both children and adults.
We are big fairy house fans and these inspired us to make our own toadstool fairy house.

I am 66 and I spend hours making fairy gardens with bark, moss lichen, clay basically anything I can find. I do it for me, I love it. Sometimes I give them away when children are interested but primarily I just do it because I love it.
What a wonderful collection! Thank you for the inspiration, I have been thinking about doing something like this with my daughter for a while and there are so many amazing ideas. Such a great way to get kids out in the garden.
They are all really lovely, I think our garden would love a fairy house, I’ll be putting it on our bucket list for things to do in the summer holidays.
I adore these – sooooo pretty! Now I have to just convince Syd it isnt ‘for girls’ so we can have a go!
Aaaw they’re all so cute – I want one of my own x x
Oh I love these! I want a fairy garden but my son is…less inclined. Might try out a fairy door instead 😉
We have just built a fairy garden for Eliza – I love that stone hut but I am afraid my craft skills don’t go that far
These are all brilliant! I remember making a fairy garden when I was little, it was so much much x
Wow! These are amazing. I’ve seen some fairy doors in the local garden centre but didn’t know how this would work in our garden (we have a dog and a cat) and didn’t think my 19 month old would be interested anyway. I’m now feeling very inspired and definitely want to try something even if its just for me. Time to get my creative hat on I think. Thank you for posting this 🙂
Oh I love these, they are all so sweet and magical. I have been making a one of the fairy garden kits this weekend with my 3 year old which she adored. We are moving soon and I love the idea of creating a fairy garden in the garden and having little fairy doors, hopefully it will capture her imagination xx
