I created this free printable Christmas wish list after a reader contacted me asking for one to accompany our Christmas list rules. Growing up my parents had rules for our Christmas Lists for Father Christmas. They always took the theme of “Something I want, something I need, something to eat and something to read” These Christmas wish lists will help your child, and everyone else in the family, really pinpoint what they want for Christmas this year.
Having rules for a Christmas wish list meant that we often made a more compact list and narrowed down our choices.

Once I had children myself I realised how important this was. Especially as my boys tended to get their hands on the Argos catalogue and circle or highlight something on every page! Or even the year Mini refused to tell us what was on his list as Father Christmas was magical and would just know!
So I have created a simple Christmas list that your child can complete with four sections. A top tip if they can not write os get them to cut what they want out of a catalogue and stick it on their list.
Perhaps you would rather a simple single list, well we also have you covered with a blank Christmas list printable. I always find with a list I can suggest smaller items to other people too. Plus I always told the boys just because it is on a list it doesnt mean father Christmas will bring it.
