We are so excited here for the King’s coronation on May 6 that we have produced some fabulous colour in coronation bunting to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III and Camilla The Queen Consort.
Colouring Bunting for the Coronation
We love a celebration and these bunting flags are a great way to prepare and look amazing around a classroom or on a table. They are perfect for a large group such as brownies, scouts or cubs and are an ideal way to prepare for the big day.
Rather than rectangular pennants we have rounded off the bottom to make them unique and to help with children’s scissor skils. You can use a single-hole punch at the top to make holes for threading. If you want these for outdoor use, then please laminate them.
You can choose to Print all four of the flags on one page or larger sized one to a page. We have added the official emblem to the centre of one which has the date of the coronation on too. The logo is a tribute to The King’s life long love of the natural world. If you examine it closely you will see it has the flowers of the UK nations on it. The design was inspired by King Charles’ love of the planet, nature, and his deep concern for the natural world.
That inspired us to add them separately to a flag, so this one has the shamrock for Northern Island, the thistle for Scotland, Daffofil for Wales and then the Tudor Rose for England with the Union Jack in the background. We think this one would work really well for younger children and playgroups.
The next bunting pennant is a hand-drawn design of the King’s portrait as designed for the Royal Mail Stamps.
