In previous years I have produced acts of kindness cards and printables and have been asked numerous times to make a random acts of Christmas kindness advent calendar. I have finally gotten around to it. I wanted to make the advent calendar active so I chose to make one that kids could colour in and on two pages so it is easy to see. I really want to encourage an attitude of gratitude around the festive season.

I have also produced a blank calendar perfect for personalising that would be great for your classroom this Christmas season. You can find more random acts of kindness ideas here. I really believe that good deeds and small acts of kindness can make someone’s day and these daily activities can become a habit.

I am a firm believer in giving kids the best quality art products that way they will last and give great results. We are still using crayons and markers that I bought when the boys were younger.

I always print my printables directly onto 160 gsm cardstock using my Epson Ecotank Printer rather than regular paper, this way they are a little more durable and the pens do not bleed through to the other side. However, if you do not have a home printer then just pop to a library and use theirs.
