If you know me then you know that I love turning the ordinary into something a little special and as a family, we love movie nights, so when Universal Pictures Home Entertainment asked me to create a post celebrating the DVD release of SING I was so excited.  We decided to make movie night a little bit special with these fab printable SING movie popcorn boxes perfect for enjoying SING this half term.

This post is in partnership with Universal Pictures

We were already prepared for the movie with our DIY toilet toll microphones (no singing into hairbrushes here) and as it was a school night I thought popcorn was the perfect movie treat.  it is simple to put together and fun for all the family.

We really loved SING it was the perfect family feel good movie that we could all enjoy.  The songs cover all age groups, Dolly Parton rubs shoulders with Katy Perry, Stevie Wonder with Nicki Minaj.  I have been humming songs from the movie all day!

Perfect for movie watching we made some cute SING themed popcorn boxes.  They are the perfect size for individual portions ensuring no fighting over the popcorn, which is always a bonus.  They are perfect for everyone to have one each whilst you are all watching SING in your living room.

How to Make Printable SING Popcorn Boxes

It really is a simple as right clicking on the link to the popcorn box printables and saving them to your computer and then printing and cutting them out.  I would suggest you use photo paper as it gives them a lovely shine and makes a really strong box.  Then you need to fold the boxes, you can do this by hand and then go over it with a ruler, before securing with double-sided tape.

We also decided to have some SING themes drinks to go with our popcorn and decided on our favourite diablos (grenadine and sprite), but to give them a special edge we added cocktail cherries and umbrellas.

We love freshly popped popcorn and have an old air popper and when I say old it was a wedding present so is over 23 years old!  However, you can just pop yours in a pan or buy some ready popped.  Then the fun part takes place.  I picked a variety of treats to add to our popcorn including Percy pigs from M&S, mini marshmallows, M&M’s, Smarties and popping candy. We also got some foam bananas for our Jonnie themed popcorn!

There is over 60 minutes of bonus content included three all new mini movies (we really liked the Gunther babysitting mini movie), in addition to an exclusive Tori Kelly music video.  We all loved the dance lessons, including Alvin!

SING on Blu-ray & DVD is out now, perfectly timed fo the half term holiday.

I’ve still not seen this movie, my youngest watched it at school as treat for the end of their tests. Love eating popcorn at our family movie nights, love you choice of toppings

I should make these tubs would stop the arguments over who is getting more treats if they had their own individual boxes! I really must get this film, loved it so much the first time I watched it, also have popcorn envy at the moment! x
