We are back this month with our picks from the Melijoe summer sale. I love a great sale shop and get most of the boys clothes in the sale, so I am going to share my summer sale shopping tips and the boys picks
As a mum I love how both my boys have such individual and unique taste, I adore their picks this time and ALL of them are at least 50% off.
Sale time is the perfect time to get your kids wardrobes sorted. You get great quality stuff, as knock down prices> In order to get the best deals follow our tips.
-
Make sure you know your kids sizes in UK, EU and US versions (or at least know the conversions). I have them wrote down (especially important for shoes).
-
Have a list of what you need.
-
Set a budget. Do not be tempted to overspend.
-
Buy for next year. I always buy for next year in this years sale. So make sure you adjust the sizes accordingly.
-
Do not store them away without making a note of what you have purchased. Do not over shop!
-
Start at the most reduced section and work your way through. Melijoe has great navigation for this and you can filter by 70% off etc.
-
Look for classic pieces that will wear well, last and be passed on.
-
Look out for off season bargains. There are some fab winter hats etc to be picked up as low, low prices.
Do you have any tips for making the most of the summer sales?
I absolutely love sale shopping, the thrill of a bargain. I do have to be quite careful not to over purchase! Mich x
I have a nine year old who will not stop growing, I need all these tips!
I hate shopping in its entirety and the thought of having small people with me fills me with absolute dread.
I always buy clothes for next year in the sales, love sale shopping! Great tips 🙂
I hate shopping and sales without children never mind with them x
If it’s not reduced it doesn’t come into this house!
Always do sales dont get any much out as find it silly full price to clothes
Love sales, especially when the kids suddenly do a growth spurt
I always stock up in the sales. Got all the kids their winter coats in the sales in the winter, although if they don’t hurry up and grow they will still be too big
I always buy Emma’s summer clothes in this season’s sales, there are always incredible bargains to be had!xx

I totally agree about using the sales to buy clothes for next year: you can save a small fortune!
