Invitation to Create and Decorate Paper Easter Eggs

Invitation to Create and Decorate Paper Easter Eggs is a paid collaboration with Bostik. This Easter Egg decorating is super simple to put together and will keep the children busy for as long as you give them things to glue and stick in my experience! The best thing about this is that children are often happy to decorate with little or no interference or assistance on my part.

I love easy crafts and this one is no exception. The best part is that kids can create their own unique designs. Set up an “invitation to create” station by putting out all of the materials you need and then let the kids get to work, a dip try works really well for this. They will love choosing from a selection of supplies. Buttons, pom-poms and rhinestones are some of our favourite supplies. I often keep an eye on the pound shop and gather items.

Depending on the age of your child you can cut our the egg shape for them. I used our easter egg template to print on to the card stock.

Then let them get creative with the supplies you give them.

What is amazing is that they soon work out the best things to use to stick. microdots are perfect for items with cut ours of lots of delicate bits, they even work with felt.

Little fingers love foam pads – they are easy to use and give lift to things they are used on.

This would also make a great activity when you have children of different ages.
