I love getting my kids in the kitchen and when we were invited by Angel Delight to design a dessert, well not a dessert exactly, but a character called delight. As a child of the 70’s I am going to admit I have a soft spot for Angel Delight and so do my boys. I had so much fun designing and putting together a kids dessert buffet.
Angel Delight are launching a new chocolate mint flavour (it is delicious) and to celebrate are making their first ever Angel Delight Movie and they are looking for you to help. Yes, they want you to share your child’s version of Delight over on their Angel Delight Facebook Page using the hashtag #DelightfulMovies,
Make your own Kids Dessert Buffet
Angel Delight is a super simple pudding to make. In fact, Mini has been making it on his own for a couple of years. You mix it with 1/2 pint of milk and then let it set for 5 minutes.
Mini poured them into some cups that we use for deserts and then allowed them to set before designing his desserts.
I set out lots of toppings for Mini to use, including fruit and sweets and then left him to it!
This would be a great activity to do at a birthday party of family get together. Mini had so much fun designing what he thought Delight would love like.
We are really excited to see the final movie and follow Delight’s journey as it figures out who it really is.
And as you will find out Delight learns it is not what you look like that matters, but who you are on the inside that counts.
I have put together a small video of Mini designing his desserts and captured his creations below:
Do you have a favorite flavor Angel Delight? Mine is Butterscotch.
Love these! Rainbow mouth is my favourite of all and what a great idea. Angel delight has to be up there with the best puddings! We like to layer butterscotch with chocolate best ( with choc buttons on top) thanks for sharing 🙂 xx
This looks like so much fun, my two love angel delight so we will have to try it! It’s good that children can manage to make it themselves too and the faces look hilarious well done boys! x
This looks like lots of fun
Ha ha these are brilliant and such fun, would be great for a party! Such an imaginative idea.
This is such a fab idea and so easy too! I have six children for tea on Saturday so I think I will do this with them 🙂
That looks like so much fun – I want to have a go with my two x x
