One of the things that I encourage my boys to be is active and as you may know I am working at reducing their reliance on electronics. This is much easier now the weather is better as they choose to be outside with their friends.
SkateHut.co.uk sent us a Crisp Ultima 125 Scooter – Gold/Satin Black for the boys to try out and it has been a huge hit.
They liked:
- It has larger wheels than other stunt scooters so goes faster making it suitable for skate parks and speed stunts.
- It is really sturdy, so perfect for learning on
- It is smoother due to the larger wheels, making it ride over cracks better
- large deck makes it easier to catch in the air
Overall:
Stunt scooters are an investment, so it makes sense to to really check out and research your purchase. This scooter is £189, so it is a real investment piece. You can not go to our local skate park if you do not have a suitable board and they have to have fixed handles.
This scooter has caused oohs and ahhs with all the children in the street and seems to be a really big hit.
Skate Hut is a really good site as they do video’s for all their kit, which gives parents a real insight into what they are purchasing.
When the sun comes out the TV goes off! It’s so good to know they can enjoy the outside and don’t even miss their electronics isn’t it? To be fair as mine are only little they only really have the telly but it is on A LOT when they can’t get out and about!
Scooter looks so so good, my eldest got her first scooter for Christmas but is still not happy using it – I’m hoping the extra time to get out and about over summer will help :).
Roo loves scooting along, I really need to get Tigger a scooter so that we can all do the school run on scooters. Looks like it is loved by both your boys
Looks like they had a good time! Do we get to see mummy have a go?
That scooter looks fab- mine can’t ride bikes (rubbish balance!) so we love scooters 🙂
This scooter looks like a nice toy but an expensive one. I guess if the child gets good play from it its worth it.
My children would love to take this to the local skate park. Sadly it is out of our budget, but it does look fantastic.
That looks like so much fun! x
That is a cracking scooter x
Looks loads of fun!
That looks like a very cool scooter. Love the gold bits!
Looks a brilliant scooter ~ I’m very envious.
That looks brilliant! Quite fancy one for myself 😉
That looks like a good one Jen – mine are all about the JD and the MGP scooters although we haven’t been to the skate park in ages as they’re more into their bikes lately and I’m not sure I fancy letting them loose on those ramps on their BMX’s!
The stunt scooters are costly but considering the amount of wear that they get out of them and the fact that it does get them out of the house so much then they’re a good investment if you can afford it.
Looks like a nice to, slighltly on the expensive side but if kids like it and use it, why not 😉 My brother had something similar but because of the weather couldn’t enjoy it.
Someone looks like they thoroughly enjoyed themselves!!
It looks great but it is expensive! We better get saving up in case the twins want one each 🙂 x
Wow these look great, my little man would love one!
Love the video! I’ve been thinning of getting a scooter for Wilf! x
This does look like an awesome scooter, though at £189 as you say it’s an investment piece, maybe something to look at for when they are bigger. Great review, cheers.
At £189 it really is an investment, but if the kids get good use and fun out of it, it’s worth it!
It sounds like you’re really well looked after with your skate park, and clearly you’ve all made the most of it! Looks like a cracking scooter too 🙂
We are thinking of getting J a scooter for his birthday, so this really helps.
Love how happy he is to jump the pavement in the end. The world of scooters seemed to have crept up on me, but everyone I speak to reinforces that you do need to spend money to get a quality, durable scooter.
This looks brilliant and so much fun although at £189 i think it would be totally out of my price range! xxx
It does look brilliant but I think the price would put me off. My child would have to have a huge passion for the sport before I could imagine spending that amount of money!
Looks fantastic fun! Think it will cater for an adult? 😉

It looks they they really enjoy this. I just bought my hubby an adults micro scooter for his 35th birthday
Wow! That does look fantastic but the price would put me off….
