I LOVE it when something inspires my whole family to get creative and making personalised head torches with Energizer at Camp Bestival did just that. Yes, even MadDad had fun creating his own space themed head torch.
Personalised Head Torches with Energizer
It is not often that we get the opportunity to all sit down around a table and enjoy a creative activity that I haven’t been involved in setting up, so it was a real please to be invited to dress our heads up with Energizer at Camp Bestival this year.
This year’s theme was space, so we entered a virtual space base as space cadets and accessorise our free Energizer head torch. There was a vast selection of items to decorate our head torches including supersized pipe cleaners, stars, planets, stickers, pompoms, googly eyes and springs.
Look even the husbeast got creative!
It is such a great all inclusive creative idea and I loved the polystyrene heads which made it so easy. I decided to decorate my straw hat with my torch and have a space themed hat!
We had so much fun and now as the nights draw in we have already used our Energiser head torches for walking the dog!
This is something that you can replicate at home. it would be perfect for a camping party and the head torch could be the party gift.

How to make Personalised Head Torches
Measure your head torch and fit it to your head. Place it into your polystyrene head or even a hate and then It really is as simple as providing the kids with a selection of materials to accessorise their head torches. Using glue dots means there is no waiting for glue to dry so is perfect of impatient kids and adults!

Disclosure: We were invited to Camp Bestival by Energizer and provided with accommodation. but we loved the activity so much we decided to write up a separate post about it!
I do love this idea, I think everyone should have their own head torch whether they are camping or not.
That looks like so much fun! Great torches for camping too! : )
Haha these are brilliant, such a lot of fun! We have head torches for running and the kids love using them 🙂
These look really fun yet functional too. Perfect timing for Autumn too – the evenings are already getting darker! x

Ooooh, my children would love these! What a fun idea.
Ha! I love those Jen, they are completely crazy but I know my kids (and, umm, me and the husband) would really enjoy making them too! Camp Bestival looks amazing, I need to look into it a bit more to see if I can take the kids next year x
