I always print my printables directly onto 160 gsm cardstock using my Epson Ecotank Printer rather than regular paper, this way they are a little more durable and the pens do not bleed through to the other side. However, if you do not have a home printer then just pop to a library and use theirs.

Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Download and Print the Templates: Start by downloading our pop-up firework template, which includes various firework patterns to color, cut, and assemble.

2. Color Your Fireworks: Use bright colors to bring your fireworks to life! Encourage kids to experiment with bold shades and patterns, making each firework unique. Red, white, and blue are great for 4th of July; gold, silver, and bright colors suit New Year’s.

3. Cut Out the Firework Circles: Carefully cut along the outline of each firework circle. For the pop-up effect, you’ll see a small section marked to cut out and fold over.
4. Assemble the Pop-Up Fireworks: Fold and glue as instructed on the template. Align and attach the “cut and fold” sections to create a 3D effect, making the fireworks look like they’re bursting out of the card.

5. Add Finishing Touches: Get creative with glitter, stickers, or other embellishments to add sparkle. Personalize the card with messages like “Happy New Year!”, “Remember, Remember the 5th of November!” or “Happy 4th of July!” to suit the occasion. If you are glitter averse then glitter glue is an excelent alternative.
Ideas for Display and Use:
