- I always print my printables directly onto 160 gsm cardstock using my Epson Ecotank Printer rather than regular paper, this way they are a little more durable and the pens do not bleed through to the other side. However, if you do not have a home printer then just pop to a library and use theirs.
- 160 gsm card stock (for durability and better color saturation)
- Printer (I use my Epson Ecotank Printer for vibrant colors)
- Markers, crayons, or colored pencils for coloring
- Scissors for cutting out each piece
- Glue for assembling the village (and attaching bases if needed)

For older students, you can extend the activity by discussing the concept of community or encouraging them to design their own buildings and animal characters to add to the village.
Tips for Success
Personalize Your Village
Use markers, crayons, or paint to color in the templates. Kids can let their imaginations run wild by creating colorful cottages or adding patterns to the animals’ scarves.
Get Creative with the Scene
Use a large piece of cardboard or a tray as the base for your village. Add pathways, hills, or even a frozen pond made from aluminium foil for an extra wintry touch.

I know that I’m not in the right place but I can’t find another place such as “Contact Me” to leave this question.
After the huge success of the Winter Village, I tried to purchase the Gingerbread Village. Unfortunately, my bank has had problems with PayPal and no longer will process charges through them. On the checkout page, it does say I can use my credit card if I don’t have a PayPal account. I tried this and it’s just another way of remitting the payment via PayPal.
Is it possible to pay somehow that doesn’t involve PayPal?
Sorry for raising this here but the Gingerbread Village page has no “comments” section. Thanks.
I have emailed you from mail@jenwalshaw, which an alternative option and with the download.
