How to Play the Halloween Pop Art Dice Game
1. Choose your Halloween picture.
Will you decorate a spooky haunted house, a cheerful bat or a witch’s bubbling cauldron?
2. Pick a section to decorate.
Use the dividing lines to choose one space in your picture.
3. Roll the die.
Find the matching dice number at the top of the pattern chart.
4. Choose a pattern from that column.
Each number has four pattern options underneath it. Pick one and repeat it across your chosen section.
5. Keep rolling and drawing.
Move to another section, roll again and add your next pattern. Continue until your picture is filled with patterned spaces.
6. Add bright colours.
Bring your artwork to life with bold colour combinations. Try orange and purple, lime green and pink, or invent your own Halloween palette!
There’s no winner to find or score to keep. The fun is seeing how every roll helps your picture grow.

Make Your Halloween Art Pop!
Try using a different colour in neighbouring sections so the patterns stand out. You could fill one space with purple zigzags, another with orange circles and another with bright green stars.
Traditional Halloween colours work beautifully, but children can be as adventurous as they like. A rainbow pumpkin or a pink haunted house can look wonderfully quirky!
For younger children, choose larger sections and simple patterns such as circles or straight lines. Children who enjoy detailed drawing can experiment with smaller shapes, closer spacing and more intricate designs.

A Fun Activity to Share
Working together? Take turns rolling the die, then let everyone choose a pattern from the matching column for their own picture. Even when children roll the same number, their finished artwork can look completely different.
Display the completed pictures together to create a colourful Halloween gallery, or use them as homemade decorations for your celebration.
