Puro Sound Labs volume limiting headphones Review and Giveaway 23

I recently learned that youth hearing loss was on the rise due to the increase in children wearing headphone and earbuds.  As a Mum to two boys who often wear headphones as they want to watch or listen to different things this really concerned me.  So we have been putting Puro Sound Labs volume limiting headphones to the test.

Safe headphones that tweens and teens will wan t to wear. Protect your childrens hearing with these amazing and desirable Puro Sound Labs volume limiting headphones.

First thoughts

Wow, the headphones come in their own hard case to protect them.  We have the white Puro Sound Labs volume limiting headphones and they are great looking headphones and the boys can not wait to give them a try.  They also come with an adapter and USB charging cable, so I pop them on charge.  Mini is the first to try them and he can not believe just how much of the background noise that they block, which is great as it means he doesn’t need to have the volume turned up as loud as he normally would.

Review

Not only do the Puro Sound Labs volume limiting headphones look great, they are really practical and effective too.  We have mainly used them as Bluetooth headphones, but you can also use a cord.  They paired to all the devices we tried easily (for both the boys and me) and have become the boys go to headphones.

We were really impressed by their noise reducing capability.  They block out 82% of the background noise, which is great as it means that you do not have to turn the volume up loudly to drown out everyday noise.  They have a volume limiter set at 85 dB which provides me as a parent with a great piece of mind.

However, I know from experience that as a parent you can not force your children to use a specific product.  The great thing is that Puro has that covered.  By ensuring that their headphones provide studio-grade audio quality and are great looking ensure that children including teens want to use them.  They have done such a great job of making their headphones desirable that my boys have been fighting over them!

Final Thoughts

I am going to admit that initially I thought that £85 for a pair of headphones was excessive, however, having all used the Puro Sound Labs volume limiting headphones I can really see their value.  So much so I have ordered a second pair so that the boys no longer have to fight over them.

Kids have always listened to music loudly (I know I did) but these days with new tech, tablets, phones etc and the media you can get on them, I’m not surprised hearing problems in children is on the rise. I think at £85 it’s worth it to protect your children’s hearing.

These look great. When I first left school I worked in a small factory where they tested, assembled and packed different headphones and the more expensive ones were definitely worth paying the extra pounds for because not only was the quality of the sound far better but they lasted longer than the cheaper headphones. I’m always more than happy to pay a bit extra for quality headphones x

We fly with a toddler so try and entertain her as much as possible with not a lot of movement so having some head phones that are volume limiting and also cordless would be amazing so she can move a bit and also play some games and watch shows and hopefully make an 9 hour flight a bit easier!!

I really like the sound of this product, my boys have a younger version at the moment with sound limiting in a penguin design, but as they are getting older now they would much prefer these! I think it was Bros, but so long ago I can’t remember lol x
