Why Stained Glass?
Stained glass windows have long been a symbol of reverence and beauty in churches, illustrating important religious stories. Now, you can bring that same elegance into your home with these nativity-themed coloring pages. Each page is designed to mimic the effect of colored glass, offering a chance to create vivid, colorful artwork that reflects the light of the season.
Stained glass designs offer a unique and satisfying coloring experience. The bold lines and intricate patterns are not only visually appealing but also make it easier to create striking images with vivid colors. These designs allow both kids and more experienced colorists to enjoy the process, making it a wonderful activity for all ages.

I always print my printables directly onto 160 gsm cardstock using my Epson Ecotank Printer rather than regular paper, this way they are a little more durable and the pens do not bleed through to the other side. However, if you do not have a home printer then just pop to a library and use theirs.

Ideas for Using the Finished Pages:
- Window Decorations: After coloring, tape the finished pages to windows to create a stained-glass effect. This is super effective if you print onto translucent paper. Alternatively you can coat the rear of the paper in oil
- Holiday Cards: Reduce the size of the printables and use them as covers for homemade Christmas cards.
- Ornaments: Laminate the pages, cut out your favorite parts, and attach a ribbon for a handmade tree ornament.
- Advent Calendar: Use different coloring pages each day leading up to Christmas as part of an advent countdown.
