On why I don’t have date nights with my husband 23

“Date Nights”, do you have them?  Are they a new fangled thing?  I don’t remember my mum and dad setting aside a regular night to spend time with each other. I do remember them going out, I remember sitting on the edge of my Mum’s bed as she put her face on, tonged her hair (and always did my fringe) and sprayed her perfume, Armani by Armani.

Why I don;t have date nights

Why loyalty pays

more important to us both.

I am his loyal wife. I trust him with my life and the life of my children and he trusts me too. We work hard at making sure that we remain steadfast together and are not only husband and wife, but friends, companions and more.

So when I was asked to tell you about the fact that E.ON are giving you the chance to reward someone close to you, someone who has been with you through thick and thin, or who has just done something nice for you recently with a treat, I jumped at the chance. E.ON are giving away 4 fabulous experience days for two plus 70 pairs of cinema tickets. I know that MadDad and I would love a pair of cinema tickets at the moment as the last film we saw together was Star Trek and the new one is due out at any time. So why not visit the E.ON Facebook Page before 28 April and let them know who you’d reward and why. You can also find the full terms and conditions of this competition on the E.ON Facebook page.

You see E.ON believes you should get something back for your loyalty and if you’ve been with them for a year or more, they’d like to say thank you. So they are giving rewards to their customers. You can either get money off your bills or Tesco Clubcard points – it’s up to you. All you need to do is change to one of E.ON’s tariffs with rewards.

For Better or Worse 4

MadDad and I have been together over 19 years and have been through many ups and downs, but how well do we actually know each other.  I like to think that we know each other pretty well, but Osbornes Solicitors asked us to put our knowledge of each other to the test with their new app For Better or Worse. So We put the app to the test and I was pleased to say that MadDad kew quite a lot about me.  OK he didn’t remember what I wore to our first date, but then neither did I!  However, he knows just how I like my tea and so he should has for the last eighteen years more »

Eighteen 7

Eighteen years ago at noon, MadDad and I were wed. We have had a wild ride of marriage with some downs and some great ups. He is always by my side no matter what I do or where I go. He is my lifeboat in stormy seas and my biggest cheer leader. We have grown up together and we are lucky enough to really enjoy each others company. He is one of the most unassuming people I have ever met and is a real joy to live with.

He has been by my side in sickness (more often than not mine) and heath (his) and is a wonderful partner and even better Dad. I miss him when we are apart and love spending time with my family. He really brings out the best in me and reminds me to always be the best person I can be.

He has a weakness for great coffee and curly wurly’s. He Likes the odd pint of Guinness and loves Beef and Yorkshire Puddings.

Back when we got married I had AJ to JL 18 March 1995 engraved inside our wedding rings, just in case he ever forgot the date (ever the realist I am) and so far he hasn’t.

He really is my cup of tea………………….
