Treads – School shoes that last

Treads – School shoes that last is a collaborative post (they provided me with one free pair and a pair to giveaway). I have never lied about the fact that I have a child that kills school shoes. In fact, I think that school shoes take some stick from most children. For my boys, it is not just wearing them at school, but also the football in the playground. Mini seems to be especially hard on his shoes.

I used to think that it was just younger children that wreaked their shoes, what with the scootering to and from school, cycling and playground jinks, but it isn’t and younger children are often happy to wear shoes with the rubber bumpers, which my teens are not.

School shoes that last - These genuine leather school shoes come with come with a 12 month indestructible guarantee.

This is where Treads come into their own. They are genuine leather school shoes come in a range of styles to suit all ages from Junior 11 up to Size 11.

They come with a 12 month indestructible guarantee as Treads are so confident in the material and workmanship of their shoes. If the shoe you buy falls short of these high standards, you may return it to them within 12 months from the day of purchase. You might be wondering how they can offer this guarantee and what makes them different. It is due to the fact that Treads are constructed using a “strobel” technique where the upper is placed into a mould and the sole is then injected around it creating one unit without the need for any glueing. This not only creates a really strong bond but offers additional flexibility, perfect for active kids.

Now you are wondering if they have just given me a pair of shoes, how I can comment on their quality. Well, this isn’t the first time my boys have worn Treads shoes. This is our fourth pair. Maxi has been wearing the same pair in the style (Turin) we have just received for Mini since April 2019. The only reason I have replaced Mini’s is due to him outgrowing his last pair.

Mini’s shoes arrived when I was away, so he grabbed them and has been wearing them for a week. I could have cleaned them before photographing them, but I wanted you to see them in a realistic situation, so this is after a day at school! Can you tell which pair is Maxi’s and which is Mini’s?

Can you tell which pair of shoes is a week old and which is over six months old? Treads - School shoes that last - yes really these genuine leather school shoes come with come with a 12 month indestructible guarantee.
