I love simple craft activities that are great for groups of kids and these bookmarks are fab to give instead of a valentines card. You could even give them a book too.
So skip the store-bought valentines this year and make Valentine heart bookmarks to pass out at school. For class valentines for kids to colour just print the bookmarks onto heavy white card stock, cut out and glue onto a colourful cardstock background. Punch a hole near the top and tie a ribbon through the hole.

Valentine Printable Colouring Page Bookmarks
Ingredients
- 1 White Cardstock
- 1 Pink Cardstock
- Ribbon
- Glue
Instructions
Print out the free valentines bookmark on white cardstock or paper
Cut the bookmarks down to size
Glue on to a piece of card – we used a lovely bright pink
Cut to allow a board of the coloured card – A paper cutter makes this easy
Make a hole at the top centre of each bookmark
Insert a piece of coloured ribbon

I always print my printables directly onto 160 gsm cardstock using my Epson Ecotank Printer rather than regular paper, this way they are a little more durable and the pens do not bleed through to the other side. However, if you do not have a home printer then just pop to a library and use theirs.
Back and White Printing with the Epson EcoTank ET-M2170
I printed these on the Epson EcoTank ET-M2170 which is a mono printer (so just prints in black and white). We wanted to try this printer out with my in-laws in mind. They are farmers and they have to do all their business online, but still, need a printer for records. My FIL (or farmer in law as I call him) is old school and not particularly computer literate. This printer really fits the bill for them, as we can set it up and add a ream of paper and just leave them to it. It is fast (39 pages a minute), they don’t have to open drawers to allow it to print and copying is super simple (they like to photocopy)!
Each ink bottle prints 6000 pages and it comes with 2 bottles included, even better they are just around £13.99 to buy. Plus from a recycling point of view, you can pop the used one into your domestic recycling bin. Plus it does a fab job.
