Washi tape
is a fab crafting material, especially when it comes to kids. I love that it is easy to tear and also that it comes in so many different patterns and colours. Over the years I have collected quite a few (understatement) and I love bringing them out especially at Christmas.

How to Make Washi Tape Christmas Baubles

I wanted to make this super easy, even for younger children, so I decided to make an inner circle bauble which the tape can be added to. That way it doesn’t matter if the tape is all random as you are just going to glue the inner on to the bauble. I printed ours in red and green, but you could co-ordinate to a specific scheme.

Cover the inner circle with washi tape.

There is no need to for accuracy as you are going to turn the tape under. It also doesn’t require scissors as it tears easily.

Fold the tape to the back of the inner circle.

Then using a glue stick cover the rear of the inner circle – I am a big fan of Bostik Blu Stick for this (Yes, I work with them but this isn’t a sponsored post) as it goes on blue and dries clear so you can see where you have added it.

Turn over and place centrally on the outer card bauble.

Then add the cord.
