Reindeer Rice Krispie Treats

Ingredients

  • 6 cups rice krispy treats
  • 5 1/2 cups jet puffed mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 1 cup green candy melts
  • 20 pretzels
  • 10 red M&M's
  • 20 candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Melt butter on low then add in five and a half cups miniature marshmallows. Stir often until fully melted.
  2. Stir in rice krispies until well incorporated. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour out rice krispies mixture onto the parchment paper. Press down with a spatula. Allow to set for 30 minutes.

  3. Cut out rice krispies in to trianges. Place back on parchment paper.

  4. Melt green candy melts as directed on the package and add to a piping bag. Pipe the top corners of the short part of the triangle add the pretzels.

  5. On the back of the M&M add soem candy melts and place on the end of the rice krispy treat. Use some candy melts on the back of the eyes and place them onto the krispy treat. Let dry before serving.

If you can’t get Green Candy Melts, you can substitute them with white chocolate buttons and green gel food colouring.

Rather than using a pan and heating on the stove, you could do this in a microwave in a microwave-safe bowl.
