Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Dr. Oetker Madagascan Vanilla Natural Extract
  • 170 grams soft butter
  • 225 grams brown sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 425 grams Plain Flour
  • 200 grams Dr. Oetker White Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Depending on the age of children you are making this with, it can be easier to weigh out all the ingredients and place in small bowls. Baking with kids is supposed to be fun, so make sure you are in the right frame of mind and have enough time

  2. Cream together the butter and sugar. We use a mixer for this.

  3. Add in the rest of the ingredients and mix together starting slowly at first. Tip – Crack the egg into a cup rather than into the bowl in case any shell goes in.

  4. Form the dough into balls and place on a lined baking sheet about 2 inches apart. The amount makes 18 medium cookies. We use an ice cream scoop to measure out the cookies, so they are all the same size and cook evenly.

  5. Cook in a preheated oven at 175 degrees centigrade or 350 farenheight for about 12 minutes until golden on the edges.

  6. Allow to cool for around 3-5 minutes before transferring to a wire tray and enjoy!
