Pear and Chocolate Chip Loaf Cake

Ingredients

  • 150 g Caster Sugar
  • 150 g Butter
  • 150 g Self Raising Flour
  • 100 g Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 2 Pears Peeled, cored and chopped.
  • 2 Eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees centigrade

  2. Grease and flour a large loaf tin.

  3. Cream together the butter and caster sugar

  4. Add the eggs and flour and mix together

  5. Fold in the pears and chocolate chips

  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a skewer inserted near the centre comes out clean

  7. Cool for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely
