My boys have been waiting impatiently to try out the Yvolution Y Flyer Scooter. We are big fans of anything that gets kids playing outside and keeps them active and the Yvolution Y Flyer Scooter has a unique action and had all the kids in the street gathered around as soon as they saw the box.
I did plan on doing a whole unboxing video for you, however, I didnt even get the chance to get the video camera out. I came outside and found a group of children all putting the Yvolution Y Flyer Scooter together on their own, so basically I left them to it!
The Y Flyer was simple to put together, so much so a group of kids can do it on their own.
They only needed me to tighten up the bolts. It took them around ten minutes from opening the box to riding on it, which I think is great.
The easiest way to describe the Yvolution Y Flyer Scooter is as a cross between an elliptical trainer or stair master and a scooter. All the boys had so much fun on it and they were aged from 7 to 11 and all managed to ride it straight away. Initially, the Step to go action felt funny to them and they had the urge to go too fast!
After ten minutes on the Y Flyer Maxi was doing jumps and the rest of the neighbourhood tribe were queuing up for their go.
The YFlyer is a great new innovative way to travel and keep active all while having fun at the same time.It has super grip foot plates for ultimate comfort and a strong steel frame that is easily foldable for quick storage with a RRP of £119. You can get one now from Amazon for £90.00
The boys were the first in the street to get a Y Flicker 12 months ago and now three of their friends have one too. I can see the Y Flyer being the next must have scooter. In addition to being great fun, it is also really good for exercise too.
They are the most awesome thing for really active kids, my son loves his, although it isn’t as souped up as this one – it looks ace – love that all the kids got involved!
Ooooh we have this too. Zak thought it was brill, it looks like great leg exercise too. I need an adult version!
My boys would love one of these. It looks amazing. Great review
These look like such good fun! Do you think they do them in adult size!?!??! 😀
This sounds like the ideal next step for my son – he loves his existing scooter and we use it on the way to school most days.
Ooh this looks like fun – I wish my two were still into their scooters x x
I want one!!
Your boys must be the coolest kids on the block – and this scooter has got to be a must have this christmas.
I am all for kids transport that keeps them active too!
These look great fun. My boys love their scooters and apart from a football it’s the most played on toy. These look like a great addition x
As my son would say, that looks epic! Suitable for 6/7 year olds?
This looks fab, Boo has outgrown her scooter so maybe this is the next step for her x
