Do you have a little one that likes to put everything in their mouth? Well, these jelly bean watercolours are a great sensory activity that is totally taste safe. Sometimes it can be challenging when you want to do an art activity when you have kids of different ages to find something suitable. Maxi always loved painting and mini did too, however, he always put his hands in and then put them in his mouth. This is a fab solution and also a great way to add some science in for older children as you can talk about how you can make the colours darker by adding more sweets and less more »
We have been long time fans of glue resist art here in the Mad House and this octopus watercolour glue resist art project is great fun for kids of all ages. I have tailored this towards tweens by using a hot glue gun with back glue. We like using glue guns for art projects as they dry super fast and are perfect for impatient people like me!
I absolutely adore this simple Father’s Day card that has been designed for you by my fab 11 year old Maxi. It is perfect for adding a little colour to as he has or for you to colour in completely and I am sure that any Dad would love being wished a Hap-pea Father’s Day. This card was inspired by the fact that MadDad is currently growing peas in the garden.
