Electra Skateboard review and giveaway

For the last month or so the boys have been getting active on a couple of Elektra Skateboards (£12.99) and an Elektra Pogo Stick (£19.99).

I am a great believer in encouraging kids to be active and get outside when they can and they both scoot or bike to school, so I have known that it wouldn’t be long before they wanted to try out skateboards.  So when the opportunity arose to review them I said yes, knowing that it would make me the cool mum! We do have rules and I was pleased to review the matching helmets(£14.99).

The Elektra Skateboards have been a huge hit and are perfect for novices like the boys.  The non slip surface on the board has excellent grip.   They are also lightweight, but robust too. The 21″ board is compact in size and fitted with ABEC 3 bearings.

The Elektra Pogo Stick has been a big hot with the boys and their best friends and has done the rounds an d been played on from kids aged 5 through to a ten year old.   In fact i8t is in high demand! It was so much fun watching the boys get used to playing on it, but now they can bounce for what seems like hours and actually travel on it!

Both the boys only play with the skateboard or pogo stick when wearing the  Elektra Sporting Helmet.  The helmet is a great fit and style and comes in coordinating colours. But best of all complies with European BSEN1078:2012 standards.  For me a helmet is a non negotiable item!
