Parenting is hard at the best of times, but parenting during Christmas can be a real challenge. Kids can be super excited and as parents we are trying top organise a fabulous family Christmas making it even more of a challenge. So here are some tips to keep things running smoothly over the festive period.

It is important to remember what children really want at Christmas is you. Your time, your attention and love and they will try and get it any way possible. Sometimes that means that they play up as they can see you are busy and any attention is better than none. My biggest tip is to be organised. I try and get everything done as early as possible. Yes, I know that people will find you smug, but oh it is so much easier to be able to have that time to spend with your family.

So whilst you are getting organised, let the kids watch some fabulous Christmas Movies. We have an advent box which has all our Christmas movies in. The boys look forward to it coming out and love rewatching them year after year.
