Making Christmas starts out of paper mags is a classic festive craft that I have been doing since I was really small. I grew up in an old Victorian terraced house with really high ceilings and each year we decorated it for the holiday season with paper decorations, crepe streamers, accordion-folded stars from leftover wallpaper or wrapping paper and stars made out of homemade paper bags or butchers paper. We started at the beginning of December and used them as party decorations for my birthday on December 20th my parents put the tree up in the window.

This wreath was inspired by this beautiful winter wonderland wreath I pinned last year but I had already made a simple white winter wreath last year using a feather bower and I wanted to mix it up a little. So I had a look through my craft stash and sound 3 balls of finger knitting wool that I thought would be perfect.
