Stape – Our Secret Place

I have blogged before about our secret favorite place.  Well we have been back and it was magical as always. The water was lower and my Niece took a tumble, but all we could here were the birds and the slow, slow trickle of water. We drank tea from the flask and water and I drunk in the boys playing together, imagination running wild and Enid Blyton childhood I want for them. Long may it continue.

We love York 2

We are lucky enough not to live to far from York and on today’s like today, it is a marvelous place.  It wasn’t too cold today, but very windy and we enjoyed a fantastic family day out at York. The MiniMads love watching the squirrels in The Museum Gardens. Enjoying the fresh air and sunshine, whilst jumping in all the falling leaves Standing on the city walls Whilst I got to get a small bit of fabric from Cath K to make new swimming bags for the boys. All in all a fantastic day was had by all.  We love you York

It was made all the nicer as the sun continued to shine. The main event was the appearance of the Glaisdale Fox hounds in the main arena and I was really surprised by Maxi Mad as he stroked one of the Fox Hounds (he is scared of dogs). This pack has established since 1877 and now hunt within the grounds of the law. The boys loved […]
