Why we love home made play dough 4

last month I made a new batch of home made play dough and added essential oils to make them smell divine. I used a different oil for each of the colours, including lavender, neroli, geranium, roman calamine and ylang ylang. MiniMad loves play dough, it is one of his most favourite things, he loves investing things with it, making sausages, using the cookie cutters and smelling it too. Home made scented play dough 2

One of the things that my boys adore is play dough, especially the youngest MiniMad, but it all tends to end up in one miss mass of colours, so I make a batch of home made every three months of sooner, depending how long it is before they want more than one colour. Since they no longer try to eat it I have started to add essential oils to the mixture, which takes the whole experience of play dough to a different level. Wet weather games and puzzels 2

As the Mini’s get older one of the great things about wet days it that we can play board games and puzzles together.One of our new favourites is Orchard Toys Shopping list, which is like bingo with food, you place all the pieces face down, each have a shopping list and a trolley and the first to get their trolley all full with food shouts shopping list.
